MRAG Maitland Regional Art Gallery

The MRAG Collection comprises more than 2800 paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs and limited edition prints, by Australian and international artists.

Since 2005 MRAG has developed its collection according to a strategic focus to collect works on paper. Within the collection are artworks by renowned Australian artists including Margaret Olley, Brett Whiteley, Sidney Nolan, Lloyd Rees, Euan Macleod, Suzanne Archer, Fiona Hall, Adrian Lockhart, Denis Nona, and John Olsen.

Many works from the MRAG Collection are on semi-permanent display throughout the building and grounds, and exhibitions of works from the collection are regularly featured in the MRAG exhibition program.
