Subject and Association DescriptionLindsay had a deep adoration of Spain and he created a large volume of work focusing on the country. The St Lesmes is a gothic style church located in the town of Burgos it was built in the 15th century to house the remains of San Lesmes, patron saint of the town. This is good example of Lindsay's interest in Spanish architecture.
