Salina is a percussionist currently completing her Bachelor of Music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She has performed with the Conservatorium’s Wind Symphony and Traditional Chinese Ensemble. She is member of the Sydney Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and participated in their 2017 European Tour. She was also the 2017 Runner-Up CutCommon’s Young Writer of the Year.
Nick McManus began playing the cello at the age of seven under the tutelage of Ludmilla Palmer at Trinity Grammar School. After being awarded an Associate Diploma of Music (AMusA) and graduating from Trinity Grammar School in 2013, he is now studying a Bachelor of Music (Performance) with Julian Smiles at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Nicholas has participated in several orchestral settings in Sydney since 2013, including the Sydney Youth Orchestra, Musician Project Orchestra, and the Sydney Conservatorium Orchestra. He has also participated in orchestral projects around Australia and abroad, including Australian Youth Orchestra, the Australian International Symphony Orchestra Institute, and Danish Youth Ensemble (DUEN). Highlights of Nicholas’ orchestral experience include touring Europe with SYO in 2017 and performing in the Bermagui Four Winds Sound Shell in 2016 and 2017.
