Garry Shead is nationally recognised as one of Australia’s leading narrative artists. His talent for grasping known Australian historical stories, episodes, identities and events and turning them to art is legendary. In these works on paper the viewer connects with the artist as if they are present at the moment the artistic thought first came into the artist’s head.
