Join guest artist Rosie Turner for a relaxed evening of art making in the gallery.

You can simply look around the exhibitions, or join in the art making while enjoying music by Loui Abell.

Rosie will demonstrate techniques she uses in her art practice and leave you to explore the materials provided.

MRAG practices the responsible service of alcohol. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Maitland Hospital Memories

With Joe Eisenberg and PeterPoulet

Peter has a major art commission for the new Maitland Hospital and is gathering inspiration for the mural from the Maitland communities stories about the old hospital.

Come along and share your story with Peter, who will interpret it in an abstract drawing, that he will then photograph and present to the story teller .

  • Peter will remain mute throughout the process and Joe will encourage the storytellers to share their memories.
