Subject and Association DescriptionAn original drawing of an advertisement for 'COBRA' boot polish. The cartoon advertisements were accompanied by verse by author and poet Ernest O'Ferrall and were published in the Bulletin newspaper in the early 20th century. "The Adventures of "Chunder Loo" were so popular that the proprietors of Cobra Boot Polish collated them into a book in 1915. The well dessed 'Chunder Loo of Akim Foo' was accompanied on his adventures by Terrier Dog and Koala Bear.
