Our aim is to provide students of all ages with access to art, artists and object-based learning.
MRAG is a valuable local resource for educators; not only for its exhibitions and art collection, but for its public spaces, big backyard and workshop spaces.
We enjoy working with educators to facilitate a gallery experience that meets the needs and interests of students. Our coordinated gallery visits are designed for students of all ages, we can:
– tailor guided tours and art workshops for preschool children,
– create engaging, round-robin style activities for primary and secondary students, and
– work with tertiary educators and groups on special projects.
But our free self-guided visits are probably the favourite – we love to support teachers to develop their own schedules and activities, so visiting the art gallery is a free educational experience.
