A new course: Accessing Intuition at Maitland Regional Art Gallery

June 19, 2014 | 12:00 am — September 30, 2014 | 12:00 am

You are invited to come along and enjoy a rich array of explorations into the realm of intuition led by creativity coach and workshop facilitator Suzannah Kersey.

This is a course for beginners, middle and enders on the road of recovering creativity in any and all aspects of your career, private life, artist career, parenting commitment or what have you.

The topics covered in this term:

Intuition training:

Exercises to teach you how to access the left as well as the right sides of your brain, that is; the logical, linear side and the creative and intuitive side.

Stream of consciousness writing:

Inspired by world class experts on creativity, these tools help you unblock your creativity and help you plan and follow through on projects.

Cushioning the Blow:

The importance of Risk-taking in living a Creative life.

Taking creative risks within the safety of a supportive class structure .

Asking your Higher self.

Train yourself to have a life-coach on tap and at your finger tips; “You”

Dropping Ink:

Use art making materials to facilitate your discovery of you and your life’s truest purpose. A safe place to explore what you may have wanted to discover for a long time.

‘No-Look Drawings’

Take the edge off drawing “seriously” and learn to draw for meditative reasons

but be prepared to improve your drawing skills dramatically.

Entering Timelessness:

Inviting a sense of timelessness to overwhelm your senses, without the use of stimulants.

Sing as you speak:

Learn to breathe as a singer is trained to and use your voice to channel your ‘higher self’ during important conversations in committed projects and relstionships. You will notice a difference in how people listen to you using this breathing / vocalisation technique.

And

Conscious Relationships:

Bringing a sense of ‘nothing’ in particular , and wonder to your engagements with your partner, children and friends. Enjoy being with them on a whole new level.

I look forward to our journey together,
