BOOKINGS REQUIRED. Every Sunday families are invited to drop into the art gallery for free art activities inspired by the exhibitions on display. Our activities are designed for kids of all ages, and as a family you can all join in and get creative. Each activity takes around half an hour to complete.
Art Sunday is staffed by qualified art teachers. The workshop is designed to encourage parents and children to add to their experience of the gallery by accessing hands-on activities in a family friendly environment.
Please note: children cannot be left unattended during Art Sundays

Come and visit the art gallery to escape the heat, we have plenty to do while you are here with activity stations throughout the gallery. Play the Giant Snakes and Ladders game, I Spy, or try the Discovery Trail, Word Play, Snake or Lizard and more. If you enjoy the summer heat we will have self-directed outside sand & water play! Fun and whimsy rule these school holidays! Discover the new exhibitions and be inspired to let your imagination run wild with hands on art making activities. Our creative art tutors will show you how to make Wacky Clay Characters and Madcap Machines or choose one of the many self-directed activity stations throughout the gallery.
