Creative Expression for Depression/Anxiety

The vital connection between the arts and health is being re-established in both the collective imagination and in public policy. With 1 in 5 Australians experiencing a period of mental illness throughout their lives, it is important to learn life skills which will see us through the difficult times that come to us all. Art therapy and storytelling provide ways of discovering and dealing with the often unconscious causes of depression and anxiety. No art experience or skill is necessary to benefit from these gentle techniques. The workshop is designed to give you a greater sense of insight and therefore power over your emotional state.
