Have your say

September 1, 2019 — November 30, 2019

One decade on from Council’s bold redevelopment of Maitland Regional Art Gallery, Council will revisit community engagement conducted in 2009 (Regional Conversations) to understand the current needs and aspirations of our community for the Gallery.

Targeting key stakeholder groups including young people, people with disability, Aboriginal people and people from cultural and linguistically diverse communities, Council will be looking to identify the barriers to participation, visitation and access to the Gallery and its programs and services. These barriers may be physical, experiential or attitudinal, both actual and perceived.

Feedback will be used to improve access and drive greater involvement with the Gallery, its programs and integration with the Maitland community.

This consultation is an extension of MRAG’s visitor survey, the MRAG annual members survey and will support a holistic review of MRAG’s services.

For updates as this project progresses, subscribe to the Your Say mailing list or join the Maitland Your Say Facebook group.

You can contribute your thoughts by completing the survey online here.
