This collaborative series of prints was inspired by the Lloyd Jones poem above. Jones had created the poem after hearing of a tragic episode in Balinese history, the mass suicide of the Balinese Royal family when faced with the end of the world as they had known, as the Dutch military marched upon the palace in 1906.
