Taking on Les Darcy is an exhibition which offers the opportunity to showcase a part of the MRAG collection which features one of Maitland’s favourite sporting greats. Joe Eisenberg identified a lack of representation of this internationally recognised sporting great in the town’s public collections and sought to acquire items that would address this need.
For the last 10 years MRAG has been collecting important memorabilia, original photographs, and newspaper articles relating to Les Darcy. Som
e of these documents have not been exhibited before in this format.
