Helen McLeod, The lady of the lake emerges (detail), 2017, digital print, dimensions variable.

Maitland International Salon of Photography

March 10, 2018 — April 20, 2018

Free

Helen McLeod, The lady of the lake emerges (detail), 2017, digital print, dimensions variable.

For 60 years the Maitland International Salon of Photography has attracted entries from photographers around the world. From over 4,500 entries in salon categories Colour, Monochrome and Nature a panel of judges independently allocate a score between 1 and 5 to each image. These scores are totalled and recorded.

The accepted 500 prints are displayed at Maitland Show with the top 70 scoring prints exhibited at MRAG together with projected images.

The Salon has the patronage of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), the American Photographic Society (APS) and the Photographic Society of Australia (PSA) and is now the only annual international photographic print salon staged in Australia.
