‘For years I have drawn most every night. The things I draw are objects I long to make. This longing eats at me like an obsession and it is exercised in the drawing.
For this exhibition I made objects that occured in conjunction with thoughts and events in my life. As these objects were made I believed that each individual sculpture had no immediate connection to its fellow sculpture, until I began to see them as an installation.’
