Admission & Ticketing

General admission to Maitland Regional Art Gallery is free, open Tuesday - Sunday 10.00am - 5.00pm.
Closed public holidays.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Food and drink is not permitted in the Gallery.

Unless otherwise indicated, photography is allowed for personal use with no flash; please do not touch the artwork.

We ask that you do not bring large or bulky items to the Gallery. Cloaking services are not available.

Please observe a social distance of 1.5 metres from other visitors where possible, including while in exhibitions, queues, toilets, entrances and exits.

Is the Maitland Regional Art Gallery open to the general public?

We are open to the public 6 days a week, Tuesday to Sunday, excluding public holidays. We adhere to the guidelines issued by the New South Wales Government.

What measures are being put in place to keep staff and customers safe?

Physical distancing requirements are in place for all visitors and staff.

Increased hygiene measures include additional cleaning of high-touch surfaces and hand sanitiser is available for visitors as they enter the Gallery.

If you are unwell or in a high-risk category please consider your need to visit. Your well-being is our priority.

Do I need to wear a mask?

As circumstances change, visitors are asked to keep up to date and comply with government guidelines. Our staff are abreast of changes and will communicate clearly what is required as you arrive. We will do our best to make every visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, regardless of the circumstances.
