Innovative and inclusive programs to keep audiences connected with art and each other
We present a variety of Arts Health programs to foster creativity, enable inclusion, and promote knowledge among the Maitland community. Our social and cultural approach provides a meaningful way for participants to connect with others, particularly during periods of isolation. Innovative approaches that maintain communication and relationships are vital to ensure ongoing connection with communities.

Journeys Creative Connections is a monthly workshop that welcomes people with a lived mental health experience to connect with art and community. The workshops are supported by our community partners Flourish and Stride and feature guest artists from the exhibition program or Gallery Collection. Bookings are essential via Flourish Australia.
Art & Dementia
Community Day & Group Visits
Art & Dementia sessions are creative and social visits of exhibitions specifically designed for people living with dementia and their carers. Our friendly Facilitator uses works of art as a trigger for conversation and self-expression, guiding people through artmaking activities in a friendly and supportive environment.
