Elizabeth Maxwell is a member of the Mid North Coast Community Quilters Group which covers the areas of Taree, Nerong, Nabiac and Belbora Inland. Their work is donated to a diversity of groups including Manning Hospital, Gloucester Hospital’s ward for the elderly, a palliative care group, to women’s refuges, and abused children’s support agencies. They also support many other needy organisations.

Much of the fabric is generously donated, with in-fill fabric bought at discount prices. Elizabeth also has an interest in making textiles, using techniques not quite in the currently perceived traditional range.

For Elizabeth, the imperfect is the most interesting of all!
