Young Archies 2014

In addition to the Archibald Prize, this year MRAG will also be hosting the Young Archies for the first time with prizes offered by both ANZ and local business Cleverpatch. Budding artists between the ages of 5 and 18 are invited to submit a portrait for the Young Archie competition, which should be of a person who is special to you – someone who is known to you and plays a significant role in your life.

There are four age categories: 5-8 year olds, 9-12 year olds, 13-15 year olds and 16-18 year olds. The competition will be judged and will based on merit and originality. Five finalists from each category will be exhibited at the Gallery with one winner chosen in each category.
