David Capra | Teena’s Bathtime

David Capra, Teena’s Bathtime, 2015, MCA Jackson Bella Room Commission was commissioned to create an interactive and multi-sensory artwork to engage people with disability or access requirements to connect with the work of a contemporary artist through sensory experiences. This work has been toured to Maitland in partnership with the MCA and is part of MRAG’s free MCA Bella program, a creative learning program developed to inspire people with disability or access requirements to explore and connect with contemporary art. Every Bella program delivered is individually tailored and responsive to the access needs and interests of the people participating.
The MCA Bella program was established in 1993 through the generosity of MCA patrons, Dr Edward Jackson AM and Mrs Cynthia Jackson AM, and the Jackson family, in memory of their late daughter and sister Belinda
