Ruth Feeney’s practice has evolved from a love of collecting and arranging. Through use of simple and thoughtful processes, found materials are transformed from their familiar state, and placed with precision into a new order.

The installations in Form are made from Eucalyptus leaves that are sorted, pressed, ground or cut into shape. A commitment to the rules of pattern and a minimal colour palette dictate the final form of these temporary arrangements, which could also be viewed as a representation of time or meditation.
