Born in Oatley, Sydney Fiona studied at the National Art School and has since developed a n extremely impressive practice as a sculptor and photographer. She is considered one of the most important artists in Australia. She has exhibited widely in Australia in both solo and group shows. Sites include the National Gallery of Australia, Heide, MCA and Queensland Art Gallery and a wide range of regional art galleries. Last year her work  was shown at Documenta13 at Kassell in Germany.
