Power + Colour: New Painting from the Corrigan Collection of 21st Century Aboriginal Art is a stunning collection of recent works, highlighting the incredible diversity of contemporary Aboriginal painting. Featuring contributions from 76 artists across 25 communities across the country, these works epitomize the artists’ boundless creativity when expressing a deep connection to the land, and is intrinsically linked to personal identity.

By drawing together such a powerful and significant collection of works, Power + Colour also pays homage to the forerunners of contemporary Aboriginal art on the world stage. This exhibition also serves as a potent reminder of the pivotal role that Aboriginal art has played in Indigenous Land Rights debates and Native Title jurisprudence.
