The Maitland Archive
17 September - 23 October 2022
September 17 2022 — October 23 2022
In The Maitland Archive, artist Luke Thurgate engaged directly with members of the Maitland community to create an epic wall drawing responding to the much-loved objects offered up by many local residents.
The objects were displayed in the space surrounded by Luke’s drawings for the duration of the project with a project that shared stories of joy, loss, community and place.
