Beak Out with Avian Improv

Upstage Youth Theatre and Tantrum Youth Arts come together Friday night to lead an all ages, no-experience-necessary bird improv workshop! It’s a chance to get silly and expressive while also learning a little bit more about this spontaneous performance art form. This event takes place in and around MRAG’s enormous Twitcher Exhibition, dedicated to birds in art. Everyone is encouraged to join in, or just watch on the sidelines! The improv workshop goes for one hour followed by impromptu bird performances throughout the gallery (if you like). Bird costumes are encouraged and bird nibbles and bird beverages are also available. Get silly and squawky, flappy and flighty! Dress in your finest feathers and be prepared to wing it!
