Clay Creations with Artist Indeah Clark (Teens 13-18yrs)

Learn from local Artist Indeah Clark to design and build your own ceramic artwork!
Indeah will share about her own practice and approaches to art making, and you will get a chance to see some of her ceramic pieces up close. After sketching up a design, Indeah will teach approaches to hand building and joining techniques so you can jump in and get messy!
Make sure you wear old clothes and bring an apron or art shirt :)
Indeah Clark lives and works on Wonnarua land in Maitland. She is of Worimi and Biripi descent and works with ceramics, printmaking and film photography. Her concepts are focused on ideas of identity, delving into Australian identity and indigenous heritage.
