About the The Maitland Archive, project
In The Maitland Archive, artist Luke Thurgate will use wall drawing to create a relational dialogue with members of Maitland’s community. He will create an evolving wall drawing in the gallery space.
Local people are invited to bring small, non-precious objects that have memories and personal narratives attached to them.
The objects contributed by community members will be displayed in the space surrounded by Luke’s drawings for the duration of the project.
