Long Story Short… What’s your Story?

April 2, 2020 — May 17, 2020

In the time of love and corona – with all our planned public programs at Maitland Regional Art Gallery put on hold- we all need a laugh and a way to express ourselves. So….

EVERYONE is invited to digitally submit the book of their life! This could be an autobiography, on the history of unicorns or any specific topic, a romance novel, a cookbook or whatever!
Be original – be genuine- be you!

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Give it the world’s best title.

  1. Hand draw the cover you think it deserves and/or needs.

  1. Write 25 words on what the book is about.

  1. Include your Name, Age, Location and Instagram handle (if you have one)

There will be two categories. Adults and under 18.

Entries should be submitted to longstoryshortmaitland@nullgmail.com by 5pm May 17 2020 for consideration.

Winners will receive a sweet collection of items I have made over the years plus some treasures I’ve kept and a catalogue from my show LONG STORY SHORT (image to be added) plus a small original work in response to the winner’s work.

I will post the winner on my Instagram @lucasgrogan plus the two highly commended artists-

I can’t wait to see how terrific you all are!

Good Luck – Have Fun – And Tell Me A Story
