Mitch Mahoney is a Boonwurrung and Barkinji artist. Using methods passed down from his Auntie, Mitch draws connections with Palawa Country, Boon Wurrung Country and Wonnarua Country to create River Reed Canoes.

Using traditional materials, such as reeds and ochres, experience Mitch in the project space at MRAG, creating his work for Upriver Downriver. Hear as the artist shares stories and knowledge around environment, and why he feels caring for Country is universal.
