Seedling Giveaway

Biodiversity Month runs for the month of September and signals the start of Spring.
Join with Councils Environment and Sustainability and Maitland Regional Art Gallery to celebrate by visiting the Gallery to collect free native seedlings for planting in your home garden.
Council will be making 1,000 seedlings available to Maitland residents with each household able to collect up to 6 seedlings. Proof of residence in the Maitland LGA will be required to collect seedlings and residents will only be able to collect for one property each.
Make sure you get in early to secure your seedlings because once they’re gone, they’re gone!
By creating natural areas in your backyard you will assist in creating habitat and a food source for bird and animal species that share our environment and help link vegetation corridors for local species to move between.
