Workshop and Wine with Luke Thurgate (For Art Teachers)

An opportunity for art teachers and educators to get creative with renowned multidisciplinary artist Luke Thurgate while also meeting our new Education Programs Lead, Alex Morris.
Come experience a (free) hour-long evening workshop with talented artist Luke Thurgate currently living and working on Gadigal Land (Sydney). Luke teaches drawing and painting at the National Art School, where he graduated in 2021 with a Master of Fine Art. Luke’s extensive exhibition history includes our very own MRAG, and you can read more about his studio practice here. This is a chance to experience our gallery and seek out opportunities for your students while also reawakening your own inner artist!
Alex Morris joined our team in May, and she is so excited to meet teachers and educators in the region and learn more about how our Gallery can assist your classrooms and students.
