Young Archie Exhibition Launch

All artists, their families, teachers and friends are warmly invited to attend the free launch of Young Archie, with special guest and Archibald Prize 2021 Finalist and Packing Room Prize Winner Kathrin Longhurst, as we celebrate all artists’ achievements and announce the Winners in each of the 4 age categories.

All welcome. Bookings essential.

Celebrating young artists of the region, the Young Archie exhibition will showcase the work of budding Hunter based artists aged between 5 and 18 across four age categories. All coming from local schools, the artists have made portraits in their own unique way of a person who is special and known to them.

Please note:

The exhibition has limited capacity. As such, this event will take place outside with viewers visiting the exhibition at the leisure. In the instance inclement weather is predicted, the launch will be moved inside, with monitored entry to gallery space.

The Archibald Prize 2021 is a ticketed exhibition. Audiences wishing to view the Archibald Prize 2021 will need to purchase tickets over the counter, or book tickets in advance.
